Neighborhoods “north” are characterized by their European appearance and have been since the late nineteenth century, the residential areas of the city’s upper class. This tour goes back to the origins of the “Paris of South America”, emphasizing the lifestyle of the old families during the belle époque Buenos Aires. We visited the palatial surroundings of Plaza San Martin, Palermo Chico and small square Pellegrini. We walk the tree-lined boulevards and parks designed for leisure, the celebrated monuments of the Centennial of the Revolution of May (1910) and the impressive Recoleta Cemetery.
