We leave at 6.30 a.m. from the Movitrack Office, located in the center of the city of Salta and begin to travel through the Lerma Valley, with villages such as Cerrillos, La Merced, and El Carril. All dedicated to the agricultural production, standing out the exploitation of the tobacco, whose plantations we can observe in the route. After ascending by Cuesta del Obispo, we arrive at Los Cardones National Park, which protects the widest variety of cacti. After a refreshment, we leave for the old town of Seclantas where we visit the museum and the church. We continue our tour of the mythical RUTA 40 by visiting the Quebrada de las Flechas formations in the town of Molinos, Angastaco and San Carlos, where we then go back to Salta on route 68 accompanied by the Conchas river, where we We go through the “Quebrada de Cafayate”, whose scenic, colorful and varied attractions surprise us … unique Salta landscape ….
