Tour Astrónomico
Our tour can be done in 2 schedules at 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., for this we go to the ayllú of Coyo where we will enjoy a basic astronomy class, to know the origins of our universe, then we will learn to orient ourselves By the stars and the recognition of constellations and of course the observation of the deep space through telescopes, our tour includes in addition to transport, a welcome wine and a coffee break, we have guides in Spanish and English
Termas de Puritama
Route: 35 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama and at 3,475 meters above sea level, inserted in a large stone ravine, you will find the Puritama Hot Springs. Toponym that in indigenous language means “hot waters”.
The sector is designed for family rest and has 8 pools of warm water that have a temperature between 25ºC and 30ºC. The water possesses medicinal and therapeutic properties since it is nourished of the minerals that brings the Puritama river.
Laguna Cejar
Departure from the agency: Caracoles corner Tocopilla.
Winter time departure starts at 15:00 and approximate arrival at 19:00 pm.
Summer time departure starts at 16:00 and approximate arrival at 21:00
We meet in the office to enjoy a refreshing afternoon in the lagoons of the Salar de Atacama, our first stop will be in the Cejar Lagoon, a turquoise lagoon in which you can take a bath and float for its great salinity , Then visit the eyes of the Salar, two lagoons which contain water with a lot of salinity, almost sweet bone, where most people rinse the salt from the previous lagoon and to finish, we will go to the Tebinquinche Lagoon, enjoying Of a sunset and disgusting a rich snack and appetizer.
Includes: Snack, pisco sour, on site and guided in Spanish and English.
Recommendations: Bring a pullover, sunscreen, bathing suit, mineral water, towels and sandals for the bath due to salt crystals.
Salar de Tara
Travel between hotels picking up passengers between 08:00 and 08:30 in the morning to begin our journey towards the adventure, climbing the Andes Mountains, highest point to pass is 4,800 m.s.n.m. To arrive at our first stop to take breakfast called Bofedal de Quepiaco, where we will find a varied bird that lives all year round in the place. Then we will continue our trip to the Monks of the Packana located at an approximate height of 4,500 m.s.n.m. Where we will enjoy the view of columns of rocks with very particular forms, in addition to the bottom you can see the Salar de Aguas Calientes, then continue towards the Salar de Tara but first on the way we will see formations of rocks that look like stone cathedrals, Finish in Salar de Tara where we will see a spectacular fauna while we have a light lunch and prepare for our return to San Pedro de Atacama.
Includes breakfast and lunch Box-Lunch on site. Guided in Spanish and English.
