As you go along, you will reach Alemania, the verge to the Calchaquíes Valleys, where colours multiply in all their nuances throughout this beautiful gorge.
On one side of the road, along Las Conchas River, the wind erosion has built a succession of natural formations such as La Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat), El Anfiteatro (The Amphitheatre), the huge crack of the hill that constitutes a spectacular rocky scenario,Los Castillos (The Castles), and other fantastic shapes, depending on the imagination and on the different times of the day when sunrays light the mountains of the magic grove.
As you go along, you will get to the union of Santa María and Calchaquí Valleys with Quebrada de las Conchas, with a view to Tres Cruces and Morales Hills. Cafayate rises within this mountain frame, at the foot of San Isidro Hill, bordered by rivers and inside a belt of vineyards. Our trio includes a visit to a winery
