El Bolson

The road heads off south along National Route 258, which is completely paved. You ride along the lakeshores of the Gutiérrez, Mascardi and Guillelmo Lakes, going past places like La Veranada and Pampa del Toro. Then you go down to a hamlet next to Villegas river. Once you cross two rivers, Foyel and Quemquentreu, you will arrive at El Bolsón a town surrounded by mountains over 2000 m high, which give it a favorable climate for growing fine fruits, such as strawberries, raspberries, and so on. A very interesting place to visit is the craftsmen marketplace, famous for its works in copper, wood and ceramics.

In winter, visitors can enjoy the Piltriquitrón Hill ski resort. In summer, it is an ideal place for trout fishing and many beautiful excursions.

You return to Bariloche by the same road.

 

Puyehue

The excursion to Puyehue National Park starts at Pan American south road, that let us to see many villages, green forest, many kinds of animals and typical houses along the road.

 

Entre Lagos is the gateway town to Puyehue National Park, this village was an old hardwood products distributor, from here came out in the train form Osorno City all the production of Puyehue and Rupanco lakes. Now a day, this is the best place to buy some food or snacks or use a phone booth or other services.

 

In this part of the road we see the wonderful countryside, and once inside the National Park we will behold a great variety of flora and fauna, also this park its well known for its hot springs and ski centre at the base of Casablanca Volcano.

 

As an option passengers can buy the day pass to Termas de Aguas Calientes, at both of them there are many activities like enjoy the Hot Springs, that has a healing power, in – outdoor pools; Trekking or adventure activities like canopy, horse – back riding, mountain bike, etc.

San Martin de los Andes – Rode of the seven Lakes

This excursion leaves Bariloche northwards along National Route 237, for 21 km until you meet secondary route F. This is a winding road, with natural beauty all around. You go past Manzano Port and arrive in Villa La Angostura. Once you left the village behind, you will be on the Camino de los Siete Lagos, or Seven Lakes Road: these are Correntoso, Espejo, Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso, Machónico, and Meliquina. Finally, you arrive in San Martín de los Andes on the shores of Lácar Lake. The return trip to Bariloche can be through Paso Córdoba or along National Route 40 via Junín de los Andes and La Rinconada.

Alerce Andino National Park

The tour begins going to the Route of Settlers passing by Alerce village taking the sea side off Puerto Montt, from here we take the Austral Road, when we pass Chamiza village we are close to get to Alerce Andino National Park.

 

This is a beautiful tour, where you can admire mountain chains crossing through the fields worked by the Germans descendents until we get to Alerce Andino National Park; located at the Reloncaví Estuary , a mountain zone in the south side of Chapó Lake.

 

The Park has a surface of 39.255 hectares; here is altogether a great variety of vegetation, an ever green forest of trees like, Mañío, Coigue, Lenga, Canelo, Tepa and the Native Forest of Alerce.

 

Among the abundant fauna here lives the Venado Chileno, Puma and the Pudú, also lives birds like Cóndor, Carpintero Negro, Peuco, Martin Pescador, etc.

 

This is a magical tour in a amazing forest, a place you can miss, for lovers nature and trekking.

City Tour Montevideo HD

A complet tour in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. Visit the “Old Town”: Constitution Square or Plaza Matriz with its Cathedral and Cabildo. We’ll see the Teatro Solís, Independence Square with the monument to Artigas (national hero) and his Mausoleum. Continuing on the main avenue “18 de Julio”, Square Entrevero and Legislative Palace are the main atractions. Then, we’ll head to the neighborhood of the “Prado” with its famous Rose Garden and Memorial “La Diligencia”. Returning by the “Parque Batlle y Ordóñez,” we pass by the Obelisk, La Carreta monument and Centenario Stadium. Then thw tour will take us to the residential area of Carrasco before coming back to the center along the beautiful road right next to Montevideo’s marvelous beaches.

Mount Tronador w/ Saltillo Las Nalcas

You leave Bariloche southwards and border Gutiérrez and Mascardi lakes. Further on, the road also borders the western arm of Mascardi Lake along a winding road up to Pampa Linda. After riding a few more kilometers you get to a brook. As from there you walk on for about 30 minutes: after crossing a suspension bridge you will go through a forest of lenga (Nothofagus pumilio) and canes (Chusquea culeou) until you reach a cliff from where you can enjoy the view of Las Nalcas fall. All around the fall we can see the great nalca (Chilean rhubarb) leaves that can grow as big as a meter wide. We go back on time for lunch and continue later to the Black Glacier belvedere.

Return is scheduled at 15:45 so as to be back at the hotel at 18:00.

From September to November there is a lot af water. From December to April, the water fall becomes much thinner. And from May to October, the excursion depends on the road condition.

Lunch and National Park fee are not included.

Colonia FD

Departure from the hotel heading to Colonia del Sacramento. This historic city founded in 1680 by D. Manuel Lobo is a true jewel by the river. On our way, we will stop at Colonia Suiza, where we will visit the oldest cheese factory in the country “Karlen” and one that is working at present time called “Quesería Magnolia” (famous for its variety of cheese). Also, the ruins of Bonjour´s Watermill and the so called “Burnt Mill”, the Founders Square, OSE´s Tank, Tiro Suizo, Nuestra Señora de Schoensttat´s Sanctuary, etc.

 

In the afternoon we will continue our trip to Colonia del Sacramento. Once we arrive, we will visit the foremost tourism attractions as: 25 de Agosto Square, Amarradero and the Yacht Port, the bay and Colonia´s Port, Palacio Municipal, House of Culture and Juana de Ibarbourou´s library, Sports Square, Real de San Carlos, etc. We continue our visit through the old Colonia del Sacramento with the so called “Portón de Campo”: 1811 Square, drawbridge, Door and city wall. We will walk along the streets of the historic neighborhood and visit the Portuguese Museum, the House of Lavalleja, San Francisco Javier’s Ruins and the lighthouse Also, the County Museum, Casa del Virrey, Regional Files, Matriz Church, Spanish Museum, Paseo de San Gabriel, Bastión del Car, etc.
