Nacional Park & Snow

In the company of our specialized guides, during this tour you will be able to discover from an exciting and adventurous standpoint the most visited place in Tierra del Fuego. We will start from your hotel heading West. Once inside Tierra del Fuego National Park, we propose an adventure in canoes along rivers and lagoons in perfect conditions of safety. After enjoying the landscape from an unique point of view in our stable canoes, it is time to walk along the paths that the snow and ice might have left available for us with one of our outstanding and easygoing guides, with whom you’ll learn lots about history, nature and whatever else you would like to ask. At lunchtime, we have a good meal with drinks included and after dessert, we’ll start our way back to Ushuaia so as to be back to your hotel around 4 PM.

Winter Adventure 4×4

Itinerary: Departure from the hotel at 9.00 am approx. The route starts traveling through the National Route 3 , across the Andes in the Paso Garibaldi, and continue until you reach an old logging road , where do the 4×4 trip in the snow, through a forest of beech and completing the circuit on Lake Fagnano.

Arriving at the lake we stop 30 min. approx , to appreciate the scenery and a delicious hot chocolate with invoices; then to go to a ski resort in winter resort for lunch , with roast lamb, salads and dessert (does not include drinks or coffee) . After lunch , will have free time to carry out activities to choice in the winter , such as scenic center dogsled or snowmobile and cross country skiing . Return to the city at 17.00 approx.

When we think of the winter of Ushuaia, we think: short days, long nights, and a few hours of daylight to enjoy. With this alternative especially designed for when the sun goes down, we invite you to take advantage of the day to the fullest!

Attractions: Tierra Mayor Valley, River Lasifashaj, breathtaking views of the snowy mountains reflecting the moonlight …

Activities: hiking with snowshoes, dog sledding, snowmobiling. etc.

White Adventure

Departure from the hotel toward the Tierra Mayor Valley, in this great snowy valley began crossing sleigh pulled by Huskies, after crossing the valley we entered the forest along an old road, in the middle of this ancient forest arrive at a shelter (small cabin heated with wood logs). We said goodbye to the Huskies and our guide helps us to achieve ponnernos rackets Waterfall Ice Alvear and the Valley overlook. The return to the shelter is faster and more fun as it is downhill and ends at the shelter, where recovered energy with a hot chocolate.

Departure from the hotel toward the Tierra Mayor Valley, we put on snowshoes and began a walk of about 30 minutes, crossing the valley in the middle of the winter night, a path of torches we mark entering the forest to the hut, where we eat kabobs and stew cooked by the Chef, mulled wine, wines and specialty of the night, ” lumberjack cafe”.

Crossing Lakes 4×4

Off Road travel Lake Fagnano and Lake Escondido gazebo / Brunch drinks Fuegian lamb / Hike in Tierra Mayor / free time for optional activities in Tierra Mayor (skiing, snowmobiling, sledding)

Departure from the hotel by the National Route 3 towards Lakes Escondido and Fagnano, crossed the Fuegian Andes at Paso Garibaldi, and we reach the lakes up to a vantage point where we make a stop and take a snack.

We returned to Tierra Mayor Valley, where we will taste lunch and have time for optional activities such as: Snow cats, sleds pulled by huskies, cross country skiing and ice skating, or just contemplate the great snowy valley from the warm inn.

Andean Experience

Development : Moving to Higher Ground / Ice climbing ) / snowshoe walk ( 2 hours 30 min) / back to Ushuaia. .

Description: starting from the hotel toward the Valle Tierra Mayor, once in the valley our guide instructor welcomes us , and after a brief chat we put on our snowshoes and start our experience , we crossed the huge glacial valley entering in the winter dense forest, we reached places where access would be impossible otherwise , this is how we discover majestic vantage points where you can see the valley in its entirety . We visited the waterfall Alvear Ice and began the descent . Our path is cut to reach the Earth High River canyon . The walk between lenga culminates at the foot of Refuge hachero where recovered energy with a hot chocolate and returned to the valley. The ice climbing instruction , can be performed either in natural ice waterfalls and artificial icefall prepared near the lodge , depending on weather conditions.

Activities at Winter Center

Between 20 and 40 km from the city of Ushuaia, in the valleys framed by snow-capped mountains, Tierra del Fuego offers various snow activities: activities in dog sledding, cross country skiing and more. With the weather conditions and adequate snow, winter travelers can enjoy completely organized tours with transfers, lunch or dinner (the most famous are those performed at sunset) and guide or independently, you can enjoy the activity one wants at any time.
