BEAGLE CHANNEL NAVIGATION & WALK WITH PENGUINS

Departing from our office at the tourist pier of the city of Ushuaia, we head on our boat Eclaireurs heading southeast to discover the Beagle Channel, having as final destination the Estancia Harberton. On the way we will stop at Bird Island where we can see a colony of Imperial Cormorants and other birds such as skuas, giant southern petrels and black-browed albatrosses; In Isla de los Lobos we can appreciate the South American sea lions of one and two hairs. Once in the archipelago Les Eclaireurs we can see the famous homonymous lighthouse which also has colonies of imperial cormorants and rockers in their islets. We will leave the lighthouse to continue sailing to our destination, on the way you can see the predominant vegetation of the area, as well as the town of Puerto Williams (Chile) in Isla Navarino. Once at Estancia Harberton, we will sail for 15 minutes from the pier to Isla Martillo on a semi-rigid boat. On the island we will walk for an hour between Magellanic penguins and papuas, always with a guide. Back at the estancia there will be time for lunch (not including food or drink) and visit the museum of bones of birds and marine mammals Acatushún. After the visit of the museum we will return to the city of Ushuaia in our minibuses through the Provincial Route J and the National Route No3, making a stop on the way to see the emblematic trees.

City Tour Panorámico

At the indicated time, depart from your hotel to visit the main tourist attractions of Santiago, departing through the historical center of the capital, ending with the modern buildings that emerge from it. First, we will visit the center of the city starting from its main avenue, the Alameda Bernardo O’Higgins, where we will meet the Presidential Palace of the Moneda, building of neoclassical construction, called that way, since it was there where the Currencies that circulated within the country. Then, we will cross the centric pedestrian walks of Huérfanos and Ahumada, which gather the greater commercial activity of the city and that lead to the Plaza de Armas, strategic place from where the first traces of the city were realized. Around it is the Cathedral Church, the Central Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. Afterwards we will visit Cerro Santa Lucía, an important architectural site, which represents a place of connotation, since it is the strategic point of the foundation of the city. Then we will pass through the Forest Park and the Museum of Fine Arts, with the Mapocho River at its side. You cross the river to reach Barrio Bellavista, a renowned bohemian neighborhood that concentrates a strong cultural, artistic and nocturnal activity, finally the new center of the city, the municipality of Providencia, and the neighborhoods of Las Condes and Vitacura, protagonists of growth and The modernity of Santiago.

Cataratas Brasileñas

Departure from the hotel to visit the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls. All passengers must have the necessary documentation to leave Argentina and enter Brazil (check requirements according to each nationality)
When arriving at the Visitor Center, we must enter through the Access Portal individually, where the load capacity of the Park is controlled. We then embark on the buses that start the walk inside the park and will lead us to the beginning of the walkways, which will be 1,200 meters long on the Iguazú River ravine. At this starting point of the tour, we have a panoramic view of the Argentinian jumps. It is the setting for taking pictures.
On the way, we will observe the canyon of the Iguazú River, the Salto Rivadavia and Tres Mosqueteros, among others. Towards the end of the route we will arrive at the lower viewpoint of the Devil’s Gorge, which at this point is about 200 mts. away.
This wonderful setting is further enhanced by the permanent formation of rainbows.
The route finishes next to Salto Floriano, where is installed the elevator that takes us to the level of the parking of the buses. The other alternative is to use the path that takes us to this meeting point and which, through stairs, returns us to the level of the parking lot of the units.

Uco Valley is a unique spot in the geography of the province, is located at 80km from the Capital and 1200 meters (on level sea). Known as the house of Cordón del Plata (Silver Mountain Range) and its stunning sceneries, it shelters worldwide known wineries with a good prospect. Its wineries have been blessed by good weather and special height, excellent conditions to produce good wine. Uco Valley is waiting to be discovered.

Experiencia Mapuche

We will visit a Mapuche community that lives in the commune of La Pintana. We will know a Ruka (Mapuche construction) and learn about its history, cultures and trades, enjoying an exquisite lunch. Graciela will greet us at the Ruka Kiñe Pu Liwen and along with her we will go through the history of the Mapuche people, through ancestral trades, traditional preparations with natural ingredients and, above all, sharing a good meal. Parque de Las Aves (Brasil)

The bird park was created in 1994, and built with the concern to offer optimum conditions for the reproduction of animals besides guaranteeing the preservation of the 16 hectares of native forest.
It is an ecological sanctuary located 300 meters from the entrance to the Brazilian National Park, on Avenida Das Cataratas, Km. 11, approximately 300 meters from the main entrance of the national park, and about 15 km from the city of Foz de Iguazú.
It has more than 900 birds of 150 different species, being the majority Brazilian birds. They are housed in giant cages of 630 square meters, which recreate waterfalls and vegetation, so that the birds find their natural habitat.
The visit is made through trails inside these nurseries, allowing you to observe species that could rarely be seen during a tour.
In addition to birds, you can see butterflies, reptiles and mammals.

CAMINOS DEL VINO LUJAN Y/O MAIPU – Half day

In the tour two wine establishments visited, chosen by the passenger. If he had no preference, it will suggest 2 cellars. It includes visit to the winery with expert guide and tasting classic or standard.

HIKE WITH PENGUINS

Departing from our office at the tourist dock in Ushuaia, we drive in our minibuses towards northeast along Nationals route 3 & J, the appealing road to Estancia Harberton. This is the first farm on the island, founded in 1886 by the Anglican missionary Thomas Bridges, and it is located at 90 kms from Ushuaia, on the Beagle Channel. We sail from Harberton harbor to Martillo Island, a 15 minute ride on a semi-rigid boat (vessel capable of navigation in the area). On the island, we walk for 1 hour along Gentoo and Magellanics penguins, always with a guide, experiencing a unique adventure. Martillo Island is part of the Estancia Harberton, and home to Magellanic penguins between September and April. They share the habitat with other birds, such as skúas (their main predator), petrels, cormorants, vultures and South American terns.  The rookery hosts around 1000 nests, and is one of the three Magellanic penguin rookeries in Tierra del Fuego. There is also a small colony of 9 breeding couples of gentoo penguins (Pygocelis Papua), the only one in South America.

Cena – Show Típica BALI HAI, con traslados

Bali-Hai presents from Monday to Saturday, from 20:30 hours, the best live show, with an attractive tour of our Chile and Polynesia. This presentation is in charge of the bands: Conjunto Folcklórico Tepual and Aromas de Tahiti. Invigorating the evening will be an animator, who will greet the different countries that visit us, performing their typical songs with the participation of the public. Highly qualified professionals are responsible for creating and giving life to exquisite international and typical Chilean recipes, exploiting in the best way the greatest quantity of products of our wide sea and rich agriculture, to please overnight the palates of the visitors. Full day Brazilian Falls + Itaipú Dam

Hotel exit. Continuation to the Iguazú National Park, one of the largest vegetation reserves in Brazil.
The walkways of the Brazilian side are dazzling by its panoramic view of San Martín Island and the most imposing jumps on the other side of the border: Salto Bosetti, San Martín and Tres Mosqueteros. Towards the end of the route we will arrive at the viewpoint,
From where you can appreciate an impressive view of the Devil’s Throat, which at this point is only about 150 mts. Away.
This wonderful scenery is further enhanced by the permanent formation of rainbows.
The tour finishes next to Salto Floriano, where there is a small shop and access to the panoramic elevator, which can be taken as an option. At the end of the tour, a long staircase will take us to the place where the bus will be waiting for us to start the trip and start the trip to the next attraction. On the way we will stop at a typical Brazilian churrasquería for lunch (optional) and then we will culminate with the visit to the Itaipú dam: considered the greatest masterpiece of shared engineering between Brazil and Paraguay, located on the Paraná River.

Brief stop at the Interpretation Center where a film is shown in which it is described in a didactic way what will be seen next. You will start a journey of approximately 40 minutes by bus, where you will know the main parts of the dam accompanied by guides: the landfill, the retaining wall and the engine room. We will arrive at the point of maximum height on the retaining wall, from where we will observe the splendid lake that forms this reservoir. At the end of the tour we will return to the hotel.
